| Abstract: | We have presented a statical study of a sample group of 56 patients with Hansen´s Disease who were treated as inpatients at the US Public Health Service Hospital, Staten Island, New York, between 1962 and 1977. Meidcal care characteristics and socio-demographic characteristics of the disease in this group of patients are analyzed and briefly discussed.(AU).
