Abstract:
Gross changes of myelinated fibres and Schwann cells at different degenerative stages were present in all five ENL nerve lesions. Besides these changes, infiltrating cells mainly macrophages, deposition of excessive collagen and perineurial vessel damage were also observed.(AU).
