| | Abstract: | Rheumathoid factor, antithyroglobulin antibody, and antinuclear antibody were studied in Thai leprosy patients. The prevalence of autoantibodies among these patients was higher than that found in the control population, and most positive results were found in lepromatous leprosy, but the percentage of positive results and the titres were lower than those recorded elsewhere. This is suspected to be due to a difference in iimune response among Thais.(AU).
